The MINERVA CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL MECHANISMS OF HEALTHY AGING https://www.minervaging.com/ is pleased to announce the Minerva workshop on Metabolism and Ageing at the Daniel Hotel, Herzliya (Tel Aviv suburb) on 7th-9th Nov. 2022.
The workshop will bring together leading experts in the fields of metabolism and ageing. We aim to create a highly interactive atmosphere to discuss the state of the art and future directions of the field. We have assembled a highly diverse and interdisciplinary list of speakers (see below) that will provide the latest insights on energy metabolism, metabolic aspects of premature aging diseases, Sirtuins, protein quality control, DNA repair, cellular aging, frailty and age-related physiological decline. The meeting venue is highly suitable for lively interactions and discussions.
Registration and abstract submission are open now. There are opportunities for short talk and poster presentations. Postdocs and PhD students may apply for travel grants provided by the Minerva Center. Submission deadline 15th, see details below.
The MINERVA CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL MECHANISMS OF HEALTHY AGING https://www.minervaging.com/ was founded in 2020 as a joint center of the Faculty of Life Sciences, Bar-Ilan University, Israel and the CECAD Cluster of Excellence at University of Cologne, Germany and is supported by the Minerva Foundation.
Herzliya is a northern suburb of Tel Aviv and easily accessible from the Ben Gurion International airport. The Daniel Hotel is located at the lively beach front of Herzliya.
