Prof. Cyrille Cohen is an immunologist leading the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy and Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. His research focuses on enhancing anti-tumor immune responses through engineered TCRs and CARs, as well as manipulating T-cell pathways to improve cancer immunotherapy. His group has contributed to the development of CAR/TCR therapies used in clinical trials and published over 80 peer-reviewed papers. He currently heads the Biological and Medical Fields at the Israel Science Foundation. Prof. Cohen sits on national regulatory committees for gene and cell therapy trials and has received multiple honors including the prize for contribution to the society and the State of Israel in the field of science by the minister of Absorption and Integration in Israel.
