Dr. Shingo Koyama is a neurologist who received his medical degree from Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and his Ph.D. from Yamagata University Graduate School of Medical Science in 2005. He conducted research at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo from 2006 to 2008. Dr. Koyama then became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine III at Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine, where he also served as a lecturer from 2017 to 2022. Currently, he practices in the Department of Neurology at the National Hospital Organization Yamagata National Hospital.
