GETTING HERE
The Daniel Hotel is conveniently located in Herzliya, offering easy access by car, public transport, or taxi.
Taxi | Taxis are readily available at the airport. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Taxis can be found outside the Arrival Hall of the airport (to the left). Taxi services are regulated and the Taxi companies at Ben Gurion Airport operate under permission. The cost of the taxi is approximately 260 NIS (approx. 72 USD). The hotel is approximately a 30-minute drive from Ben Gurion Airport and a 20-minute drive from Tel Aviv, depending on traffic.
Train | The train station at Ben Gurion Airport is located on Level S of the Landside Building, adjacent to the Arrival Hall. The train will take you to the Herzliya Station from where you will need a Taxi to reach your hotel.
Bus | Ben-Gurion Airport - Tel-Aviv bus line No 445 located at the Terminal 3, Level 2, Exit 21; continue by bus 47 to Herzliya until HaMa'apilim/Nordau stop; continue by bus 31 until Ramat Yam/HaGvura stop. There is bus line No 33 from Herzliya Railway Station to Ramat Yam/HaGvura stop adjacent to Daniel hotel.
Car Rental | The car rental companies’ counters at Ben Gurion Airport are located on the first floor of the East Gallery in the Arrival Hall. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Parking | There is a public parking lot across the street from the Daniel hotel for an additional charge.

LANGUAGE AND CLOTHING
The official language of the conference is English. Israel’s official languages are Hebrew and Arabic. Most Israelis speak English, and most of the signposts are in English as well.

CURRENCY
The unit of currency in Israel is the new Israeli shekel (NIS), commonly known as the shekel.
ELECTRICITY
Electricity in Israel is supplied at 220V, 50Hz, and has a three-pin connecting plug.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The conference organizers cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property either during or indirectly arising from the conference. Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to personal health and travel insurance.
VALUE ADDED TAX REIMBURSEMENT
According to the Value Added Tax (VAT) Law, a foreign tourist is able to benefit from a zero rate of VAT on a vast array of services obtained during a stay in Israel. In addition, a special arrangement exists whereby a tourist may also request a VAT refund on purchases made during a stay. TOURIST VISAS
All visitors to Israel must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date they enter the country.
Starting from January 2025, visitors from visa-exempt countries are required to obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter the state of Israel. An approved ETA-IL, indicates that you are allowed to travel to Israel and stay for up to 90 days per visit. All travelers to Israel must have a valid visa or an ETA-IL approval before they start their journey. If you are eligible, obtaining an ETA-IL is a simpler and faster process. Note: Israeli citizens or holders of an Israeli identity number do not need to apply for an ETA-IL.
Letters of invitation will be issued by the Conference Secretariat to bona fide participants only. Requests should be sent on the official letterhead of the applicant company / organization. Individuals from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel should write to the Conference Secretariat, ciosta2025@ortra.com, no later than three months prior to the conference, giving their full name, date and place of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry, date of arrival and flight details. Each conference participant is responsible to apply for a tourist visa or ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) before the arrival.
Note: Passport and visa requirements are liable to change at short notice. Travelers are advised to check their entry requirements with the Israeli Embassy/Consulate or with their travel agent.
