Late-Breaking / Demo Session
LVA/ICA2012 will feature a Late-Breaking / Demo Session, which will be dedicated to the presentation of:
- Early results and ideas that were not yet fully formalized and evaluated by the full-paper submission deadline in October, but by now are already sufficiently ripe for presentation
- New software and data of interest to the community, preferably with open-source resources
- Signal separation methods or systems evaluated in SiSEC 2011 but not associated with a full paper submission to LVA/ICA 2012.
Accepted presentations will be included in the conference program, but will not be published in the conference proceedings.
Submissions to the Late-Breaking / Demo Session are welcome in the form of a "Title + Abstract" (only), which will be instantly reviewed for a "sanity check", and accepted on a first-come first-served basis (due to possible space limitations). Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their presentation within 24 hours of their submission.
The deadline for submissions to this Late-Breaking / Demo (and SiSEC) session is Sunday, January 15th, 2012.
At least one author of an accepted presentation for this session will have to register to the conference by the Early Registration deadline of Monday, January 16th, 2012.
Note that a submission to this session can be covered either by a full-rate registration or by a student-rate registration. However, each student-rate registration can cover at most one such presentation (whereas a full-rate registration can cover up to three presentations at LVA/ICA 2012 of any type, either in the form of full-papers or in the form of "Title + Abstract").
To submit a "Title + Abstract" for this session, please send a pdf version of your submission (1 page, which includes a title, the names and affiliations of all authors and an abstract) for evaluation by the Program Chairs atlvaica2012 at gmail dot com.
